Life on the plastic frontier

(2021)

Published on VG

With the world's second longest coastline, Norway is the last stop for several hundred tonnes of maritime waste each year. There is currently no known technology that can mechanically clean litter in Norwegian topography and terrain. Humans are therefore the only and best resource to perform the cleanup. This is a story about young people who put their normal lives on pause to sail along Norway in search of litter. They want to contribute to a better future and enjoy the present.

The project was supported by Fritt Ord.
